The foremost is that the flounder bite in the summer & fall, and can be fished with lighter tackle by every member of the family. The tradition of NJ fishing includes taking the spouse and kids fishing for flounder, and this type of fishing is the Adventurer's specialty!

Delicate & Beautiful Weakfish & Sea Trout "
Throughout the season the weakfish and sea trout in Delaware Bay, stack up in the grounds where the Adventurer does most of it's fishing. Captain Gary keeps updated on his fishing reports, and when they are around, the Adventurer fishes for them. Great opportunity to get a mixed bag of fish when the weakfish are biting. You will enjoy taking photos of these multicolored fish similar to a freshwater trout.

Bluefish

Before the summer season, the Adventurer accepts special trips for Night Blues. This is the trip for the fisherman who want a full night of exciting hard fighting action. Captain Gary has been professionally bluefishing for 20+ years, and the waters in Southern New Jersey make for excellent bluefish feeding grounds, without too long of a ride. Come experience the bluefish action on the Adventurer.

The most exciting and plentiful trips are when the Sea Bass & Blackfish (Tog) are biting. Captain Gary gets you to the various wrecks and reefs where the fish can be found. Sometimes the action is non-stop, and the fish bite and nibble almost every time you drop your bait to the bottom. Have fun showing your kids the art of fishing, while the sea bass keep biting throughout your trip.
