Striped Bass & Snapper Blues. Blue Claw crabs starting in August.

Belmar Marina Boat Ramp
|
The boat ramp at the Belmar Marina offers access to the Shark River and Atlantic Ocean through the Shark River Inlet, close to fishing grounds called "The Farms" & "Shrewsbury Rocks" for Fluke, Bluefish, Blackfish, Black Seabass & Striped Bass.
Ramp is located 200 yards to the left of the store!
Don't forget to pick up any missing essentials at our store.

Shark River Inlet Jetty
|
One of New Jersey's most popular jetties, shore anglers can catch Blackfish year round, as well as Fluke on either side of the jetty. There is a hole about 100 yards north of the jetty at 8th avenue beach.
Exit the store & cross route 35 on to 10th Avenue. Cross Main Street to Ocean Avenue make a left. When you come to Shark River Inlet, park on Ocean Avenue & fish from the inlet.
We carry Jetty Cleats & Sandspikes for safe & comfortable fishing.

Beach in Belmar, 8th Avenue & 11th Avenue Jetties
|
The beach has excellent surf fishing for Fluke, Blues & Stripers. Early morning, Twilight & Late night is best for Stripers. Use whole clams tied on a 2 foot leader & a pyramid sinker during the incoming tide.
The 8th & 11th Avenue Jetties offer a little more private fishing then the Shark River Inlet. Perfect for quiet & peaceful fishing without the boat traffic.
Exit the store & cross route 35 on to 10th Avenue. Cross Main Street to Ocean Avenue make a right to the 11th Avenue jetty, make a left to the 8th Avenue jetty, or just fish the beach from the jetties, north to the inlet. Park on Ocean Avenue and enjoy the beach.
