Shark River & Shark River Inlet
|
The area's most popular fishing spot. The jetties at the inlet have always been productive for all the inshore gamefish. Conveniently located on Ocean Avenue. Fish the river for flounder, porgies, kingfish & weakfish. Hit the jetty for stripers, blues & fluke.
Exit the store and continue south on route 35 to Belmar. After crossing bridge go right on 8th avenue for the river or left on 8th ave for the beaches.
Great selection of live & frozen bait for a great day on Shark River.

Monmouth County Beaches North & South of the store
|
The beaches in Monmouth County are a convenient for moving from place to place to find the fish on the bite. Start up at Sandy Hook. check out Sea Bright & Monmouth Beach. Work your way to other spots in Spring Lake, Long Branch, Elberon & Deal. Asbury Park, Bradley Beach & Avon-By-the-Sea are all very close to the store. Don't forget about the Eighth & Eleventh Avenue jetties in Belmar, just south of the Shark River Inlet.

Belmar Marina Boat Ramp

The boat ramp at the Belmar Marina offers access to the Shark River and Atlantic Ocean through the Shark River Inlet, close to fishing grounds called "The Farms" & "Shrewsbury Rocks" for Fluke, Bluefish, Blackfish, Black Seabass & Striped Bass.
Exit the store and continue south on route to Belmar. After crossing bridge go right at the Belmar Marina.

An excellent winter spot for flounder fishing in the Shark River. Spring Summer & Fall offers fluke, snapper blues, stripers & blue claw crabbing.
Exit the store and continue south on route to Belmar. After crossing bridge go right at the Belmar Marina.
