Keansburg Fishing Pier
|
The Keansburg Fishing & Amusement pier has been a Bayshore tradition for generations. Easy access & parking, safe comfortable fishing. The pier is famous for Fluke, Weaks, Blues & Stripers and especially good for Big Bay Flounder in the late winter.
Exit the store and make a U-turn at the next light. North on Route 36 to Main Street in Keansburg, make a right and follow to the beach and go left. Pier is a quarter mile up on the right. Plenty of Parking available.
Don't forget to pick up any missing essentials at our store.

Port Monmouth Inlet & Jetty
|
The jetty & inlet at Port Monmouth hasconsistently produced all the bayshores most poular gamefish. The rocks are a rare bayshore spot for Blackfish, and of course Big Stripers. Crabbing and snapper blue fishing is excellent along the bulkhead of the inlet.
Exit the store and make the next jughandle on 36 south. Follow down to the bay. Inlet has an east side and a west side with jetties on both. Parking is available at the marina on the east or the park on the west.
We carry Jetty Cleats & Sandspikes for safe & comfortable fishing.

"Spy House" Fishing Pier
|
The Spy House pier at Port Monmouth Beach is an excellent place for big striped bass because of a stairway on the pier that leads to the waters edge. Safely land your big striper by hand, net or gaff. The pier is also a great place to fish for Fluke, Blues, Weaks & Flounder. Public Restrooms available in the parking lot.
Pier is a half mile east of the state marina. Free Public Parking.

Surf Fishing on Ideal beach
|
Easy public access to the largest beach on the bayshore. Clean sands and surf with deep holes abound, holding Bass & Blues in the summer, Big Bay Flounder & Fluke during those seasons, plus comfortable swimming on smooth sands.
Just west of Port Monmouth, a clean sandy beach for bathing, surfcasting and other water sports. Parking Available at the Beach Parking Lot.
In the summer bring the family for a day of fun, sun & fishing in the calm surf. |
Boat Ramp at Leonardo

A famous bayshore port for generations, Leonardo offers quick and uncrowded access to Sandy Hook, Earle Naval Pier, The Atlantic Ocean and the Bayshore hotspots like the Reach, Buoy 1, Keansburg's Football Field, Romer Shoals, Flynn's Knoll, The Rip and Chapel Hill Channel.
