What to Bring

• If there is anything you need for fishing we have it on board
• Make sure the line on your reels is in good condition and not frayed or twisted
• We have snacks & drinks onboard
• Make sure your drag is set properly, so you can set the hook on a strike

Sunscreen, Sunglasses Rain gear if it's raining- be prepared and don't get caught standing in the rain Hat, Clean T-Shirt, Jacket & Gloves Rag for your hands Camera, Film & Batteries - Get it all on film! 1 Rod & Reel (also available onboard for rental) - we recommend spinning or baitcasting outfits in the 30 lb class & 30 to 40 lb test, for Blackfish, Ling, Cod & Pollock. Stand-up outfits in the 60 to 80 pound range for the Canyon trips. Terminal Tackle(available on board for all species.) - Additional Bait, Tackle, Line Spooling & Stand-up Outfits available at Atlantic Highlands Bait & Tackle right at the marina.

STAND-UP TUNA FISHING AT IT'S FINEST

The Sea Fox is an 80 foot aluminum party boat. Every year we gear up to go TUNA Fishing. Yellowfin, Longfin, and Bigeye Tuna school up on the Continental Shelf & the Offshore Canyons in the warm waters of the Gulf Stream. We make numerous overnight Canyon Tuna trips in September & October. The SEA FOX is fully equipped with everything you need for a successful Tuna trip. We offer 30# & 50# stand up rods, galley & large bunkroom. We have large fish & ice holds. We tag your fish, & professionally bleed, collar and ice your catch. Everything you catch is yours to keep. Fillet services are available by the mates back at the dock for a fee. The smooth, fast ride to and from the canyon affords you an opportunity to relax in our bunk room, before and after the experience of our canyon trips.

Yellowfin, Longfin, Big-eye, Bluefin, Mahi-Mahi, Swordfish & Pollock are the species you can catch at the canyon!

Striped Bass run every Spring & Fall, and the Sea Fox knows where to go to catch them!

Fishing from the Atlantic Highlands has it's advantages, like easy access to Sandy Hook and the deep channels in the Raritan Bay. These spots have traditionally produced more striped bass than any other place in New Jersey, due to the presence of the Raritan & Hudson Rivers. The Sea Fox fishes for Striped Bass every Spring & Fall as the fish migrate from the rivers and into the bays. Great spots like "Flynn's Knoll", "Roamer Shoals", "Sandy Hook Channel", "The Rip" and "Chapel Hill", just to name a few.

Most party boats offer bottom fishing as a winter season species when fish are available closer to shore. The Sea Fox targets Bottom Fishing all year with a special Mudhole excursion every friday during the summer months. The rest of the year our Marathon Fridays go to the deep reefs & wrecks for cod, pollock, ling, ocean pout, monkfish, giant sea bass & white hake. The experience of the Sea Fox in this fishing zone keeps you over fish, and many fisherman have had their best days ever, bottom fishing on the Sea Fox.
