During the winter the flounder fishing is excellent in the channel 25 yards off the end of the pier. Exit the marina and make a left onto West Front Street. Continue through the next light then make a left on American Legion Way. Pier is on the bulkhead. Park in the lot on the right. Crabby's Bait & Tackle 3 doors down for all your Bait & Tackle needs! |

Exit the marina and make a right on West Front Street. Go to the center of Keyport, and make a left onto Broad St. Make your next right onto First street and continue down 1 mile. The road splits, bear left and go to the end. Make a left onto Florence and continue to the beach, about 1.5 miles. At the beach make a left and go to the end to park and walk to "The Point". Cliffwood Beach |
Cliffwood beach is unlike any beach in New Jersey, with "The Cliff" and the wooded trails that give access to anglers. Surf fish for Fluke, Blues & Stripers. Early morning, Twilight & Late night is best for Stripers. Use whole clams tied on a 2 foot leader & a pyramid sinker during the incoming tide.
Exit the marina and go right, to Route 35 North. Continue 2 miles to Cliffwood Avenue, and make a right. Stay on Cliffwood avenue until you go over 2 small bridges.
